Test of Strength Wrestling closes out its explosive 2018 with the most ambitious wrestling event of its young history. 16 tag teams (yes, 32 athletes) converge on East Hartford, Connecticut to compete for a chance to become the first ever TOS Tag Team Champions.
Teams that call TOS home, like Above The Influence, The Filthy Family, and The Congregation, clash with veteran newcomers well known to local fans, like The Middlesex Express and The Epidemic. Time-tested tandems reunite like The NPC, while first-time teams like Elijah 6ix & Johnny Santos or Ty Shyne & HVO enter the field. Stables like The Fellowship or Team Shazam (who has a distinct advantage with TWO teams represented) look to cement their supremacy at TOS.
Hopeful contenders convene from all over, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey, with international competitors hailing from Jamaica, Canada, and more. Regardless of who comes away with the titles, one team will forever go down as the inaugural champions in what is already a prominent division, while Test of Strength Wrestling continues to grow exponentially by the month.
The tournament final will crown the winners at TOS’s next big Northampton offering, Lone Survivor, in March. First round action can be witnessed live in-person 1pm on Sunday December 9th at the Dojo at 87 Church St in East Hartford, free to the public with an opportunity to give to Toys 4 Tots, and will also be aired on live on the Test of Strength YouTube Channel.
