I am a wife and a mom of two very active daughters. I work part-time at my kids’ school maintaining the computer systems and volunteering with various school activities. I don’t have time to be sick or injured.
It has become my mission and life goal to teach and role-model a healthy lifestyle for my daughters. Hopefully, I will inspire others to do the same. Exercise and good nutrition has become a priority in my life, something that I must do, just like brushing my teeth or showering. It is empowering. I have come to love putting my body to the test and seeing what it can do. I have come to love eating clean foods that make me feel good, and that make me feel good about the example I’m setting for my kids.
It took many “tests of strength” to get me here. Over the last several years, I have experienced many tests not only of physical strength, but also tests of spiritual, mental and emotional strength. I’m thankful for those past tests. God presents the exact tests to help me grow so I can handle the next one. I learn something new from each one of them. Each day still brings new challenges and tests. I’m still trying to figure out how to be healthy in this crazy fast-paced world, and I am still learning.
